London City Island comprises of 1,706 new homes set on an island of 12 acres, with independent artisan restaurants, shops, creative?hubs?and al fresco spaces. The development takes its inspiration from the area’s maritime heritage, with bold primary colours and making use of its waterside?surroundings with river walkways. London City Island's Summer Cinema 

London City Island’s Summer Cinema celebrates the return of the iconic Wimbledon Championship tournaments (28 June – 11 July 2021), with an evening showing of the famous Brit romcom Wimbledon on 27 June, followed by full coverage of the Wimbledon Championships (free walk-ins, except for the finals which will be ticketed). From 12 – 18 July, there will be alfresco blockbusters for all the family so have your popcorn at the ready and settle into your deckchair to watch a whole range of top musical, comedy, family, action and superhero favourites.

Tickets

Tickets are £10pp for evening screenings and £5pp for day screenings (includes a deck chair or beanbag and silent headphones). 

Food and Drink at City Island Summer Cinema

London City Island’s very own onsite gourmet chocolate shop, Cartografie, from Kae Shibata, ex Pastry Chef at The Ritz and Sven-Hanson Britt, Winner of Masterchef the Professionals The Rematch 2019, will be serving visitors homemade ice creams, sorbets and freshly cooked popcorn along with single-origin iced and hot chocolate drinks and Yorkshire strawberries with chocolate sauce. Whilst The Lockdown Beach Hut will be serving an array of summer seasonal drinks, including Pimm’s, Aperol Spritz, Champagne, beers and ice coffees… oh and did someone say strawberry mojito iced lollies!?’ England’s best sparkling wine, Nyetimber, will be serving the best of English fizz, whilst Wanderlust Wine will be providing a selection of interesting organic wines from around the world.
