Wu Ningxi presents a compelling programme spanning three centuries of piano literature, opening with the intense, stormy energy of Scriabin's Étude Op. 8 No. 11, before moving into a rich selection of Chopin — including the brooding Polonaise No. 4 in C Minor, the deeply lyrical Nocturne Op. 55 No. 1, and the dramatic Polonaise No. 1 in C-Sharp Minor.

The recital culminates in the monumental world of J.S. Bach, with the towering Partita No. 6 in E Minor (I. Toccata) and the profound Contrapunctus I from The Art of Fugue — music that has stood at the summit of the piano repertoire for three centuries.
