Luke Wright has rapidly and deservedly become one of the Uk’s top performance poets. He also now has a considerable international following and reputation.
Goosfest spotted Luke’s amazing talent earlier in his career and previously he has given two mesmerising and unforgettable performances at our festival. Luke is also an accomplished author and has published considerably. Luke often tours with John Cooper-Clarke and he has featured on BBC Radio 4 several times. His work has been recognised with a Fringe First, a Stage Award, and the 2021 Saboteur Spoken Word Artist of the Year. He has made fifteen different solo shows, three plays and has published five collections of his poetry and six pamphlets. His most recent work which he is currently touring across the UK, is called Later Life Letter, which relates to family, adoption, and ultimately, love. This was recently featured as a documentary on Radio 4.
If you want to experience the power of the spoken word this is a night to do so!
