He is the support act in the summer for Richard Thompsom, which is praise indeed.

Rob has featured on the BBC, and he has won the highly regarded ‘Purbeck Rising 2022’ award, imprinting himself on the UK Folk scene. He has also won the ‘Sofia International Singer Songwriter Award’ at the festival held in Bulgaria in 2022.

Rob’s music is filled with real-life experiences, performed in his own compelling storytelling style, with acoustic guitar accompanied by a variation of foot percussion.

The Ashmen are all multi-instrumentalists playing banjo, drums, electric and double bass, keyboard, mandolin, violin and Harmonica. They generate a sound that sits comfortably across folk-rock and americana.

This promises to be an excellent high energy evening of music.
