Nature, Magic & Mischief! (SEND Event) at ELHAP (SEND Adventure Playground)

On Sunday, 13th September it’s Roald Dahl day! So, step into a world of pure imagination and join us for a magical afternoon of outdoor fun, inspired by the wonderful stories of Roald Dahl and the wonders of nature. 

Enjoy a range of nature inspired activities running throughout the day, including:  

• Splodgy seed-bomb splatting

• Marvellous medicine brewing

• Clay creature crafting

• Bug and beasties nature art

• Trinket making and dreamcatchers 

• Higgledy-piggledy hideaway constructing

• Scrumdiddlyumptious campfire cooking (subject to weather conditions) 

• Book nook and storytelling

• Nature trail

  And, of course, plenty of adventure play!

Opening: 1:00pm 
Closing: 4:00pm

Families are welcome to drop in anytime and enjoy a fun, nature-filled celebration.

ELHAP is one of only eight specialist adventure playgrounds for disabled children in the whole of the UK. Set in a 5 1/2 acre woodland site, ELHAP is the biggest specialist adventure playground in the country.

Since 1976, we have been facilitating adventure and nature play opportunities for children and young people with disabilities and complex care needs, whilst providing vital respite for their families and carers.
