Rhythms of Life willfill you with joyful energy from Monteverdi to the vibrant sounds of contemporary composers, this captivating programme celebrates love, laughter, nature, theatre, dance and the magic of performance.
Enjoy playful Italian Renaissance songs, Shakespeare’s witches and fairies, sparkling jazz classics from Gershwin, Berlin and Mercer, and the captivating story-telling of ‘Like a Bell’, commissioned for The Guildhall Singers, premiered at this year’s King’s Lynn Festival and written by Norfolk composer James McConnel.
With James McConnel accompanying and Andrés Hernández-Salazar conducting, this concert promises to be a thrilling, joyful musical journey—one that will have you tapping your feet and singing all the way home!
