National Summer Shire Horse Show 2026 at Rockingham Castle Estate

The largest gathering of pedigree Shire horses in the world
has a new format and a new location for 2026, join us for a day showcasing the
best of the breed!

Founded in 1878, the Shire Horse Society works hard to
protect the breed, that was then known as the Old English Breed of Cart Horse.
It is the only charity dedicated to the protection, promotion and improvement
of the Shire horse and is your ‘go to’ resource for all things related to the
breed.
