Join us for Strutt Your Mutt, a much-loved community event for dog lovers, proudly organised every year by Wangford Veterinary Clinic since 2011. This year, we’re raising vital funds for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, an incredible charity that transforms lives - and we’d love you to walk with us and, if you can, collect sponsorship to support this amazing cause.

As dog owners, we all know the incredible comfort, confidence, and companionship a dog brings into our lives. They make us feel safe, supported, and never alone - and that’s exactly why we understand just how extraordinary a Hearing Dog can be. Beyond alerting their partners to important sounds, these amazing dogs offer reassurance, independence, and a constant source of emotional strength. It’s this life-changing partnership that inspires us to raise funds for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, so more people can experience the same joy and security we know so well.

Our beautiful route takes you through some of Suffolk’s most breathtaking landscapes - farmland, heathland, ancient woodland, and sweeping beaches. As you explore the Benacre National Nature Reserve, you may be lucky enough to spot marsh harriers, bitterns, otters, fallow deer, butterflies, dragonflies, wading birds, and even some rare species that make this area so special.

From peaceful reedbeds and lively shingle shores to flower-filled woodlands, every part of the walk offers the chance to enjoy stunning scenery and perhaps glimpse some of the wonderful wildlife that thrives here.

And after your adventure, head back to Woodfarm Barn for a well-earned rest with tea, coffee, cakes, or a refreshing ice cream — the perfect way to round off your day.
