Sydenham’s Big Cat Safari - Free Event at Outside the Greyhound Pub

Can you find the Beast of Sydenham?
Are you brave enough to join the hunt for South London’s most mysterious feline?

Since 2005, rumours have swirled of a black panther prowling the streets of Sydenham.
What begins as a harmless Safari soon becomes a madcap mission full of adventure, daft clues, audience participation, and increasingly odd cat-based revelations…

Walkabout Street Theatre - Fri 7, Sat 8 & Sun 9 August 2026 - 30-40 min shows at 2pm, 3pm & 4pm. (Please assemble 15 mins before the advertised show times, so each safari can start promptly on the hour.)

Safari starts just outside the Greyhound Pub,  313-315 Kirkdale, London SE26 4QB.
Suitable for all ages!

Performances start on the hour and will lead the audience for a walking tour of the back streets of Sydenham. There is no advance booking, but you are very welcome to make a cash or card donation on the day.
