Gunwharf Quays is set to bring a packed programme of free live entertainment to Portsmouth's waterfront this August, alongside the launch of a new open-air bar and the return of its Seafood Festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Running until 31st August, Gunwharf Quays’ ‘Castaway Cove’ will offer visitors a relaxed waterside spot to enjoy drinks, street food and free entertainment, with live performances and family-friendly activities taking place almost every day.
At the heart of the month-long event is Castaway Cove's Nautical Tiki bar - serving tropical cocktails, spritzes, regional beers and non-alcoholic refreshments - in an environment that blends tropical plants with shaded pergolas, inspired by Polynesian beach clubs. The bar will be accompanied by a changing menu, showcasing fresh South Coast flavours.
Guests can enjoy an extensive programme of free entertainment throughout the month with live acoustic performances from artists including Jack Creedy, The Wednesdays, and Portsmouth local, Ella Roche, alongside saxophone performances from Vadym Sax and Freddy Saxo. The programme also features:
Castaway Cove will be in The Plaza at Gunwharf Quays until 31st August. All entertainment will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information and the full entertainment programme, please visit: Gunwharf Quays Outlet Shopping | Gunwharf Quays
